Town End Alpacas is a small, professional alpaca breeder based in the Lake District conveniently close to junction 36 of the M6 in Cumbria. We offer a full range of services: advice and guidance, alpaca stud services (on farm, drive by and mobile), alpaca husbandry and agistment. We sell breeding and pet alpacas in a wide variety of colours and price levels.
The premier alpaca herd at Town End Alpaca farm has top quality Suri and Huacaya alpacas across the whole spectrum of colours.
Our foundation herd was selected for their fine, lustrous and well defined fleece. By acquiring top quality pedigree alpaca studs from the best Australian blood lines, the herd standard will continue to develop. We also have strong links with other breeders of championship pedigree alpaca herds.
As alpaca breeders it is important to us to promote the wonderful quality of alpaca fibre. We are doing this by developing a range of alpaca products from rovings and raw fleece for hand spinners, yarn for knitters and weavers, through to hand knitted and woven garments including a range of luxury throws.
