About Us
Town End Alpacas is a small, professional alpaca breeder based in the Lake District and very accessible, being conveniently close to junction 36 of the M6 in Cumbria. We offer a range of services (from premier alpaca stud services to full alpaca husbandry and agistment) and alpaca sales.
The championship alpaca herd at Town End Alpaca farm consists of top quality Suri and Huacaya alpacas across the full spectrum of colours.
Our foundation herd was selected for their fine, lustrous and well defined fleece. And, through the acquisition of top quality pedigree alpaca studs from Australia the herd standard will be continuously improved. We also have strong links with other breeders of championship pedigree alpaca herds (Bozedown Alpacas, Pinkney Alpacas, Anzac Alpacas, and Ambersun Alpacas).
As premier alpaca breeders it is important to us to promote the wonderful quality of alpaca fibre. We are doing this by developing a range of alpaca products from rovings and raw fleece for hand spinners, yarn for knitters and weavers, through to hand knitted and woven garments.
We also buy fleece from other top breeders in the alpaca farming community so we have sufficient volumes to satisfy demand across the range of colours.
Town End Alpacas are members of the British Alpaca Society.
