About Us

Town End is a small, professional alpaca breeder based in the Lake District, in Cumbria conveniently close to junction 36 of the M6. We offer a beginners introduction to alpacas and a full range of support services: advice and guidance, stud services (on farm, drive by and mobile), alpaca care and agistment. We have alpacas for sale in a wide variety of colours and price levels: for showing, breeding, 'hobby' rearing and pet alpacas.

Our show success illustrates the top quality of our Suri and Huacaya alpacas. All of our championship herd are pedigree registered and have excellent conformation with soft, fine, lustrous and well defined fleece.  We have strong links with other  award winning breeders and our herd standard has progressed through the acquisition of premier studs from the best Australian blood lines. 

We are passionate about the wonderful quality of alpaca fibre and have developed products ranging from rovings and raw fleece for hand spinners, yarn and wool for knitters and weavers, through to hand knitted and woven garments including a range of luxury throws.  Our on-line shop is now open and you can buy our wonderously soft alpaca yarn, hats, scarves, wraps and throws in a range of natural colours.  We also sell our alpaca products locally at Bowland Bridge Stores - please come and feel the quality of our alpaca fibre and see some of our alpacas.

Town End Alpacas is a member of the British Alpaca Society. We take an organic approach to farming alpacas.
