Town End

Town End Alpacas is a traditional Westmorland farm with 50 acres of pasture land and a range of farm buildings. As well as an old Westmorland bank barn, we have a large multipurpose building with modern facilities which enables us to keep our alpacas indoors when required and for husbandry.
 

Primarily we are farming alpacas, but we also keep some rare breeds on the farm: Belted Galloway cattle, Wensleydale sheep.
 

The large stone farmhouse was originally built in the 17th century and is now split to provide a 3 bedroom holiday cottage. The 4 star Gold Award self catering accommodation is full of character and in keeping with its age most rooms have beams, low ceilings and other traditional features.
