Town End Alpacas will always endeavour to provide the best of care to all visiting alpacas. Their care includes supplement feeding and routine husbandry activities, and they will be kept with and looked after just as though they were our own alpacas.
All alpacas visiting Town End are entirely at their owners' risk and owners are responsible for their own insurance throughout the stay of their alpacas.
Any necessary veterinary costs must be paid by the owner. Town End Alpacas will endeavour to contact the owner prior to incurring such costs, but animal welfare must be the priority.
Unless otherwise agreed, all alpacas visiting Town End must be healthy and females should be ready to conceive (including any necessary fleece trimming). Alpacas must be must be up to date with Clostridial vaccinations, and must be wormed and treated for mites prior to their visit. Further vaccinations and/or treatments can be undertaken at Town End but must be agreed in advance - please call.
Full breeding history and information regarding any medications recently administered must be provided prior to service.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due prior to mating. The stud fee is non-refundable.
Town End will provide a free return to service if the mating does not result in a live cria or if the cria does not survive for 30 days (a veterinary report is required and this must confirm that the loss was not due to negligence). This guarantee is not transferable to another owner or to another female.
On farm mating includes 10 weeks free agistment.
